Family Travels...

Wedding day!!
I am sitting here realizing it has been 2 weeks since my last blog and I don't know where the time went!  Jonathan and I had a wonderful time traveling to NC to visit my family and then GA to visit his family!

While in NC, we spent countless hours playing board games and spending quality time together.  We also surprised my parents and brother with a 3D/4D ultrasound of baby!!  He was so much more developed than we could have ever imagined.

After NC, we traveled to GA.  I had the privilege of being in my cousin's wedding.  She is so special to me and I was so happy to be part of her special day!
My lovely in-laws at the Bridesmaid Luncheon
I had one day at home before heading back for the east coast.  I won a trip to NYC for work.  I was there for a few days and was able to work in the corporate office.  It was a blast!!
Me and baby in Times Square (he is a well traveled little one by this point!)

Lately, I feel like I have been growing exponentially.  This baby boy is definitely taking over!  I am still anxiously waiting to feel him kick me!  I have felt bubbles, but not necessarily any more movement.  I feel great, but I am starting the "nesting" phase!  The house is getting cleaner by the day and I know I am driving the girls I work with nuts.  The nursery is pretty much all finished, I am just adding a few decorative pieces.  We did the first load of laundry and that made it feel so much more real!

Stay tuned...this belly keeps growing by the day!

Best celebration EVER

5 years later...
On our 5 year wedding anniversary, we had the pleasure of being in Greensboro NC.  It just so happened this was the date of our first baby shower!  My mom so graciously invited friends and family over to celebrate this joyous occasion.  She made the cutest cakes for us!
Adorable!

She mad me my own cake!  YUM!

We played games, ate lots of food, and just had a really good time!
I did warn them we had to take them all back to Cali!

My aunt made me the sweetest quilt...it was a total surprise since she wasn't there.  Can you tell by my face??

Love it <3

Drometer Family (I look SO much like my Granma and Aunt!)

My family <3<3 (Minus Lucy)
It was so nice being able to spend time with family that I hadn't seen for a few years.  Our travels continue...so I will post more in the next few days!
